Abbie Walsh creates exquisite and unique one-off accessories. Drawing on her experience in costume, combined with her passion for vintage fashion each piece is an absolute one-off, imbued with a sense of the theatrical and lovingly stitched by hand.
A background in costume both in London's West End theatres and as part of UK and American tours, working on plays, musicals and opera on over 30 productions.
A lifelong passion for vintage clothing culminated with her role as a designer/seamstress for fashion label One Vintage where she used her skill to restore and reinvent stunning vintage frocks for an appreciative worldwide audience.
In 2009 Abbie launched her label, finely sourcing original amazing antique finds, that lend themselves beautifully to her skills of reinvention, transforming loveworn treasures into incredible, showstopping, covetable one-off fashion pieces.
Feb 2016 saw the launch of the Tattoo Collection Abbie Walsh x Heather Moore. A collaboration with tattoo artist Heather Moore, of delicate hand-beaded and embroidery artwork on enchanting reworked vintage pieces. The collection also includes the sort after personalised neckties.
Abbie produces small collections throughout the year, has a continuous stock of her mainline accessories and is available for commissions, all of which are one-off pieces.
